About Me: 

 I have agreed to join the Snohomish County Tribune.

The Tribune has taken me on as a freelance photojournalist. I look forward to expanding my base of reporting opportunities and working with this gregarious staff.

Three years with The Monroe Monitor and Valley News (WA) has come to an end. I want to thank the good people of Monroe for their cooperation and giving spirit with the work I presented to them.

BACKGROUND in Photography:

I’ve worked in product photography (jewelry and antiques), portraits, landscape and print media, spanning three decades.

Whenever possible I shoot film. I find that film communicates my artistic “eye” better than digital pixels: photography is more than grabbing a series of good shots and enhancing them after-the-fact.

I shoot digital as well because the media in which I make a living prefers digital.
